Carita Weaver of i5 web works Receives Legacy of Women Award from SafeHaven of Tarrant County
Southlake, Texas (PRWEB) July 29, 2013 -- Carita Weaver, co-founder and partner of i5 web works, an Internet marketing agency in Dallas Fort Worth, has been named a 2013 Legacy of Women honoree by SafeHaven of Tarrant County. The 21st Annual Legacy of Women Awards Luncheon, which benefits SafeHaven's domestic violence prevention and intervention programs, will take place October 3 at Tarrant County Convention Center.
Weaver, who is being honored in the business category for Northeast Tarrant County, is among 15 honorees this year in the categories of arts, business, education, health and human services, and volunteerism representing Arlington, Fort Worth and Northeast Tarrant County. All nominees are judged on the following criteria: commitment, achievements, initiative, impact and additional contributions. A panel of SafeHaven's professional staff and previous honorees make the selections.
According to Renova Williams, the community volunteer who nominated Weaver, Carita joins a distinguished group of women who excel in their areas of expertise while giving back to the community.

Weaver was nominated for her contributions to numerous charitable organizations, which includes designing new websites, providing marketing expertise, and serving as a volunteer and board member. Weaver, and her business partner and co-founder, Michael Burns, are the well-recognized faces of i5 web works, which was founded in 2005 and provides Internet marketing services in Dallas Fort Worth including custom website design, search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising and social media management. With a “divide and conquer” strategy, the duo is active in numerous business and community organizations, oftentimes providing pro bono expertise and work.
