Author Carlos V. Cornejo offers readers an escape from the humdrum of everyday life with his expansive new short story collection, “Different Coins in the Fountain: Volume II of II” (published by AuthorHouse).
In this sequel to his first volume, which contained 54 stories, Cornejo presents 42 new stories, each of which stand alone, making the book ideal for busy readers who may not have the time to devote to an entire novel.
Featuring a wide cast of characters from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds, the short stories in “Different Coins in the Fountain” will appeal to a broad audience. Drawing inspiration from a lifetime of observation, Cornejo’s two-volume series offers hours of escapism and entertainment.
“There is no time to be bored in life, and we should never succumb to that condition,” the author says. “Reading will keep our brains alive.”
