Burch writes of the essential elements that she needed in her road to recovery: her family, her church and herself. She says, “there are many who need to be offered encouragement,” and it is in “My Amazing Life” that the author hopes to provide some inspiration for other stroke victims and all others who suffer from physical, mental or spiritual trauma.
An excerpt from “My Amazing Life”:
Jesus is our very real help in times of trial and trouble, and we must count on him to do the best for us in every circumstance in life. This I believe with all of my heart. I thank God for all of the many prayers that lifted me and my family up during this time of testing and trials. Our extended church family constantly bathed me and my family in prayer. I don’t understand how people going through what I have can cope without the support of the prayers of family and church. Our God is awesome in caring for us if we will only trust and obey him!
