Center for Discovery, a leading residential treatment center for adolescents with behavioral and substance abuse issues is proud to announce its appearance on the episode of the Dr. Phil show which filmed January 15, 2014. Center for Discovery is providing residential treatment services for various guests on the Dr. Phil show through its many adolescent treatment programs.
"We are thrilled to be chosen by the nationally recognized Dr. Phil Show to be their center of excellence in offering treatment services to struggling teens and their families," said Mark Hobbins, President and COO of Center for Discovery.
The January 15th episode of the Dr. Phil show focuses on the family of a 15-year old young woman who struggles with a variety of issues including contentious family relationships and substance abuse issues. The young woman’s out of control behavior has created deep family divisions. Dr. Phil worked to discover what was at the root of this young woman’s behavior and recommended Center for Discovery as a safe environment where she can focus on addressing her issues.
"Center for Discovery can offer this young woman the perfect opportunity to focus on herself and grow in a warm, supportive, therapeutic environment," said Dr. Matthew Polacheck, Program Director at Center for Discovery Adolescent Treatment Program.
