Centura College Partners with American Red Cross to Hold Blood Drive
Chesapeake, VA (PRWEB) July 26, 2016 -- On Tuesday, August 2, Centura College will be partnering with the American Red Cross for a blood drive and wellness fair at its Chesapeake campus from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. In addition to the blood drive, the event will also feature complimentary wellness checks from Centura’s Medical Assisting students, live demonstrations of its health care programs, campus tours, and much more.
“Here at Centura College, we are dedicated to the health and well-being of our students, staff, faculty and surrounding community,” said Campus Director Ashley West. “We are all impacted by the shortage of blood, so opening our doors to the American Red Cross for a blood drive in a time when they need it the most is both our pleasure and our responsibility.”
