CEUFast.com, a leading provider of nursing continuing education courses operating out of Lake City, Florida, is pleased to announce that it is now accredited with the Alabama Board of Nursing (ABN). A continuing education provider since 1987, CEUFast, Inc. is now Alabama Board of Nursing provider number ABNP1485.

CEUFast could previously offer nursing continuing education courses in Alabama due to their national accreditation with the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s COA, but the company decided to go above and beyond for its customer base, taking on additional cost to ensure its customers had a good experience with the website. This additional accreditation allows the company to automatically report new certificates of completion of contact hours, a service typically only offered by live CE providers.

Julia Tortorice, lead nurse planner and CFO at CEUFast, is excited to offer greater convenience for the company’s customers, saying, "To better serve our customers we started the process to become Alabama providers in 2013 and were approved in October 2013. In November 2013 we completed the necessary changes to our website and are now able to instantly report customer’s credits to the Alabama Board of Nursing automatically once users enter their Alabama nursing license. No longer are users required to manually report each hour on the ABN website. We are happy to find new ways to better serve our customers and will continue to do so."

Prior to this accreditation, CEUFast’s nurses practicing out of Alabama had to manually report every certificate of completion of contact hours to the Alabama Board of Nurses, which could be a tiresome process. Today, Alabama nurses who utilize CEUFast’s services will have these certifications and contact hours reported to the ABN automatically. When Alabama nurses complete any of the 150+ contact hours available through CEUFast, the website’s software allows for those hours to be reported to the ABN instantly and hassle-free.

CEUFast, Inc. is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's COA.
