Vendt Brothers Insurance Inaugurates Charity Program In The Maryland and Washington D.C. Area And Debuts With Campaign for the Ronald McDonald House
Washington D.C. (PRWEB) January 30, 2015 -- Vendt Brothers Insurance in the Greater D.C. Area announced the debut of its charity program designed to benefit the local community. The agency will work closely with nonprofit organizations in the area, to nominate a new beneficiary every 60 days. The idea is to create a campaign to help the elected individual, family or programs with immediate support by bringing awareness to those very important causes.
To launch the program, Kevin and David Vendt, the agency’s principals, have chosen to introduce The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Washington D.C. The campaign’s mission is to help keep families together during the most challenging time of their life. By supporting the local Ronald McDonald House, donors help to provide families with a ‘home away from home’ while their child heals in a hospital far from their primary place of residence.
“We understand how valuable it is to find help when you need it most, so we are committed to pulling the community together to support these families through difficult times. By helping our local Ronald McDonald House, we are providing those families with comfort and shelter when their critically ill child is receiving treatment far from their home,” said Kevin Vendt founder and President of Vendt Brothers Insurance.
Each new cause showcased by the agency will accompany a detailed full story about the elected cause on a designated donations page. To join the Vendt Brothers Insurance in supporting The Ronald McDonald House, donors are encouraged to visit http://www.razoo.com/story/The-House-That-Heals-Children and share it with their friends and family through social media and email.
With the newly launched program, Vendt Brothers Insurance takes responsibility for promoting that page through its many channels, to include its own database of thousands of customers, business partners, staff, neighbors and friends.
The agency also owns a monthly publication, Our Hometown magazine, which reserves a full page featuring the campaign of the chosen cause. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue of the magazine can be accessed here: http://vendtbrothersinsurance.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_41
