Scientology Volunteer Ministers Goodwill Tour Offers Workshops in Palau
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) November 11, 2013 -- The Scientology Volunteer Minister South Pacific Goodwill Tour launched a series of workshops October 11 at the Palau Community College assembly hall in the city of Koror with a grand opening ceremony dedicated by the dean of continuing education of the college.
Palau is a nation of 250 islands in the western Pacific Ocean, a paradise of coral reefs, hidden caves and pristine water.
The program began with a performance by the Bonitas Traditional Dance Group, an opening prayer and blessings by Father Rusk Saburo and a welcome speech from Paramount Chief Ibedul Yutaka Gibbons.
Scientology Volunteer Ministers South Pacific Goodwill Tour Director Mathew Andrews spoke of the purpose of the Palau tour—to pass on the practical knowledge and life skills contained in the 19 Tools for Life of the Scientology Handbook. "Tools for Life free workshops help enhance the abilities and potential for success in life for anyone who attends," he said.
Dean Willy Wally officially announced the beginning of the seminar program, conducted free of charge by Volunteer Ministers each morning, afternoon and evening at the college for three consecutive weeks. The Meyuns Terebkul Dance Group then performed a traditional dance to officially launch the seminars.
Established in 2004, seven Volunteer Ministers Goodwill Tours reach out with effective solutions to life’s challenges to those living off the major crossroads of society. In addition to the South Pacific tour, others travel through Russia, Central Europe and Asia, Africa, South America, Southern Asia and the Indian subcontinent.
Palau is the 15th leg of the South Pacific Goodwill Tour that began in Fiji in 2006.
The Volunteer Ministers program is expressly intended for use by Scientologists and non-Scientologists alike. Anyone of any culture or creed may train as a Volunteer Minister and use the tools to help their families and communities, and all are welcome to do so.
Equipped with effective technology to resolve virtually any difficulty, Volunteer Ministers live by the motto: "No matter the problem, something can be done about it."
