Clean-Slate Janitorial Services, Toronto’s Leading Commercial and Retail Cleaner, Weighs in on New Apps that Help with Spring Cleaning
Toronto, Canada (PRWEB) March 30, 2015 -- Toronto, Canada (PRWEB), March 30, 2015 – Clean-Slate Janitorial Services (http://www.Clean-Slate.ca), a Greater Toronto Area-based professional cleaning company that specializes in commercial office cleaning, retail maintenance, floor restoration, carpet cleaning, and construction site cleanup, is weighing in on new applications that help make spring cleaning easier.
“It may not feel like it for residents of the GTA, but spring is officially here,” says Sam Panousis, owner and operator of Clean-Slate Janitorial Services. “And although the birds aren’t chirping and the flowers aren’t blooming, businesses and commercial properties still need to take that extra time to get some spring cleaning completed.”
Panousis explains that it may not look like it now, but spring will be out in full force before we know it and homeowners will want their properties looking as pristine as possible. And for those businesses looking to still get a jump on spring cleaning around the office, new apps are making it that much easier to rid all the clutter.
“There are a ton of apps to talk about, but a few of them really stand out as far as helping businesses and commercial properties. For instance, Donation Town is an app that locates a charity to come to the user’s location and pick up any items they would like donated, all for free,” he adds. “CARROT is another one that’s kind of cool; the user downloads their to-do list and it basically pesters them until the list is done.” (Source: Flanagan, W., “Ten Startups and Apps to Help with Spring Cleaning,” Chicago Inno web site, March 26, 2015; http://chicagoinno.streetwise.co/2015/03/26/spring-cleaning-checklist-10-best-apps-to-help-you-clean/.)
According to Panousis, thredUP is another standout. The app operates like an online thrift store and lets users sell those knick-knacks stored up from a year of office parties and holiday celebrations. The app helps get rid of the clutter caused by lingering items and actually puts some money back in the user’s account. While it’s not a significant amount, it’s better than paying to have those items removed.
“For all major spring cleaning cleanups, however, it is still recommended to hire professionals to do the job,” Panousis concludes. “These apps are all great and have some kind of benefit, but when it comes to getting down and washing windows, deep cleaning carpets, and other, more laborious jobs, that’s when a company like Clean-Slate Janitorial Services should step in and take charge.”
