Columbus Public Library Launches eAudio, eBooks and Digital Magazines
Columbus, NE (PRWEB) March 02, 2015 -- Columbus Public Library has partnered with RBdigital from Recorded Books (Prince Frederick, MD) and the Central Nebraska Digital Consortia to deliver two new electronic resources: OneClickdigital and Zinio for Libraries.
OneClickdigital provides patrons at Columbus Public Library free access to eAudio and eBooks at home, in the library, or anywhere with Internet access. Many titles are multi-access, so multiple users can check out a given title at the same time, eliminating holds. OneClickdigital is compatible with all popular listening devices, and mobile apps are available for the iPhone, Android, and Kindle Fire. OneClickdigital features an easy-to-use interface with streamlined navigation, fast downloads and automatic software updates. Live toll-free technical support is available at 1-877-77AUDIO.
“OneClickdigital is great to use for audiobooks on the go,” said Karen Connell, Reference Librarian. “Use your smartphone to listen to audiobooks instead of searching for a CD player.”
Columbus Public Library patrons may now also visit their library’s website for unlimited simultaneous access to complete digital magazines. Zinio for Libraries features complete, full-color, page-for-page magazines with intuitive navigation, key-word article search and interactive elements such as audio and video. Periodicals can be viewed on most Internet-enabled devices inside or outside of the library. Car and Driver, Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, National Geographic, and Newsweek are just a few of the popular titles that are available.
Connell continued, “Can you imagine carrying 130 magazines with you on vacation? With Zinio for Libraries, read all your favorite magazines on one device!”
