We have created a team of specialists from across the world, and we want Comet to be built with top-of-the-line hardware- that is why every single feature, down to our 2440x2560 screen resolution, is second-to-none.

The world’s first water-resistant and buoyant smartphone, Comet, began raising funds on Kickstarter yesterday. Comet is built with fins that deploy as soon as it’s completely submerged in water, so mobile users no longer need to worry about losing their phones in bodies of water.
Comet is built with a 2.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 and a 4GB Ram. Depending on storage needs, consumers can choose between a 16GB and a 32GB Comet. It comes equipped with 16Mp rear and front-facing cameras that can actually be used at the same time.
“We have created a team of specialists from across the world, and we want Comet to be built with top-of-the-line hardware,” said CEO Prashanth Raj Urs. “That is why every single feature, down to our 2440x2560 screen resolution, is second-to-none.”
Comet is introducing many features that are new to the Android smartphone industry in addition to the fins mentioned. These include:
- A border of Turquoise LED lights that light up when a user receives a call or message
- A pre-installed bubble messenger that allows Comet users to communicate
- A pre-installed app designed on a biometric platform that detects a user’s body temperature and displays a specific color to indicate mood
- A Quantum Lock that utilizes military-grade 256 bit AES to encrypt voice communications, ensuring the user’s privacy
Consumers can pre-order a Comet for between $300-$375 depending on whether they choose the 16GB or 32GB option- the phone comes completely unlocked so consumers can use it on whichever network they’d like- including Verizon, AT&T and Sprint. In addition to the phone, backers can also choose to pledge for a pair of CometCore’s water-resistant Bluetooth earphones. For more information, visit http://bitly.com/CometKS.
