Compass Business Solutions, a leading specialized learning partner for Cisco, has launched IT Hot Topics training sessions as part of its Training-as-a-Service Program. IT Hot Topics sessions provide 30 minutes of information relevant to today’s IT Professionals followed by an open question and answer period for active participation.

“We know that it can take three to five years to fully train a technical professional and make him or her wholly productive. But we also know that there is an immediate need to focus on important concepts that help IT Professionals with their day-to-day jobs,” said Jules Trono, President and CEO of Compass Business Solutions. “IT Hot Topics are designed to refresh information for experienced technicians and to help less experienced techs gain a high level understanding of today’s relevant topics. Our students want the ability to act intelligently even prior to attending training that offers deeper details.” More than 140 people attended the first IT Hot Topics session, which covered subnetting. The second session, which will cover SSL VPN’s, will be held on September 9th at 2pm Pacific Time.
