Continental National Bank to Launch "Grow Entrepreneurship Program"
Miami, FL (PRWEB) October 13, 2015 -- Continental National Bank, Miami’s premier community provider of financial services for small businesses and entrepreneurs, is proud to announce the introduction of their GROW Entrepreneurship Program, an intensive business education initiative designed to help professionals grow their companies, improve and strengthen their skills, and enable them to make meaningful contributions to their communities. Developed in collaboration with Miami Bayside Foundation, Pino Global Entrepreneurship Center and Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Florida International University (FIU), the program is now open for enrollment with training sessions scheduled to begin on October 13.
Through its GROW Entrepreneurship Program, Continental National Bank seeks to inspire and engage the next generation of Miami business leaders through courses designed to foster an entrepreneurial mindset. Qualifying professionals will have the opportunity to work with experienced SBDC mentors, attend workshops, and develop connections with their peers. They will also have access to a competitive small business loan program, courtesy of Miami Bayside Foundation. The program will be divided into 4 accessible sessions per year. Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesday, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m., at the Continental’s Little Havana branch.
GROW’s first training session on October 13 will count on the participation of more than one dozen guest entrepreneurs. Continental National Bank is now actively accepting applications for the program’s upcoming sessions through its website.
“Our GROW Entrepreneurship Program is a resource that can open lucrative doors for local business owners. Professionals enrolled will have access to unique tools to increase their revenue, create jobs, and drive growth in our community – a goal that we are strongly committed to”, comments Jaqueline Dascal-Chariff, Chairman of Continental National Bank.
The Entrepreneurship Training Initiative was made possible through a grant awarded to FIU by Continental National Bank. This is the most recent of several important contributions that the bank has made to community causes during this year. Throughout its 40 years of service, Continental National Bank has supported many local charities and civic organizations, placing special emphasis in safeguarding a prosperous future for the leaders of tomorrow.
