Converged Communication Systems Accepts Award for Avaya IP Office Contact Center
Evanston, IL (PRWEB) May 08, 2015 -- Converged Communication Systems (CCS), a telephony and unified communications provider based in Evanston, is excited to announce its acceptance of an award presented by Avaya for being one of the first, nationwide sellers of Avaya’s new IP Office Contact Center (IPOCC).
Avaya announced the creation of the new IP Office Contact Center back in April. The IPOCC gives mid-sized businesses an affordable, multichannel contact center. Benefits from implementing this solution include enhanced employee collaboration, increased productivity and improved customer service.
Before Avaya’s IPOCC launched, most mid-sized businesses didn’t have the resources or budget allocation for a contact center solution that fit their needs. IPOCC supports 5-100 contact center agents and includes features such as call recording for every agent, an agent interface to quickly access customer information and easy set-up and management. It also has support for outbound and inbound contact in voice, chat and email.
Converged Communications, a longtime partner of Avaya, is certified in IPOCC and is now one of the first North American partners to sell and implement the new solution. CCS is excited to offer IPOCC solutions to its many small-to-medium sized business clients.
“Converged Communication Systems is proud of our strong partnership with Avaya,” Steve Melchiorre, CEO of Converged Systems, said. “Our enterprise clients constantly benefit from their state-of-the-art communication system. With the new IP Office Contact Center, mid-sized businesses will now have the opportunity to profit from having an affordable, efficient contact center as well. We’re proud to be one of the first partners to be able to offer and implement it to our customers.”
One of Converged Communication Systems’ first clients to implement the IP Office Contact Center was thrilled to be able to get their organization set up with the new Avaya solution.
“This client of ours is in the transportation industry, and they transmit over 4,000 calls before 9 a.m. every day,” Melchiorre said. “They really needed a robust contact center solution to keep up with that. Our team at Converged Communication Systems successfully implemented the Avaya IP Office Contact Center solution and our client’s call center team couldn’t be happier.”
