CrimeReportOnline.com is set to go live with all of their social media accounts, the company said yesterday.
“The days of customers simply calling a company on the phone with a question or concern are long gone,” a CrimeReportOnline.com spokesman said. “Today's consumers expect more, and so a critical part of our launch is to ensure we're where they need us to be.”
The company's social media presence will include Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and a Wordpress blog, among other smaller outlets, he said.
“We wanted to provide as many options as possible in order for potential and existing customers to get a hold of us,” he said. “And with Pinterest being a photo-based medium, we're excited to reach out with graphics and other, more fun items. Our blog will be our outlet for longer, more in-depth discussions of news and views.”
The accounts will be monitored by a dedicated social media staff, he said.
“If someone has a question, we always want someone to be available,” he said. “So our social media staff will monitor the activity and respond to any comments as soon as possible. We also hope to expand to Twitter hashtag events and memes. We believe in keeping up with the times, no matter where it may lead.”
CrimeReportOnline.com will continue to have a toll-free customer service phone line and live chat on the website itself, he said.
