The Cruise Web Premiers Infographic for Holland America’s New ms Koningsdam
Calverton, MD (PRWEB) April 12, 2016 -- On April 8, 2016, Holland America Line debuted its new Pinnacle-Class of ships with the elegant ms Koningsdam - the premium line’s first new ship since 2010. To bring guests onboard - at least virtually - The Cruise Web created an in-depth infographic highlighting the Koningsdam’s most impressive features.

The Koningsdam will tour Europe on a series of Premiere Voyages before returning to the Netherlands on May 20, 2016 for her naming ceremony. After the official christening, ms Koningsdam will spend the summer sailing a series of Northern European itineraries before moving to the Mediterranean in the fall. In late October she’ll reposition to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, her grateful homeport for a sunny season in the Caribbean.
The Koningsdam accommodates 2,650 guests and beautifully applies new design concepts to the line’s always elegant aesthetic. Guests will enjoy a host of new public spaces, entertainment venues and culinary pleasures, along with all of the much-loved amenities currently enjoyed throughout the fleet. Plus, for the first time ever, Holland America is offering Family Ocean-view Staterooms which were designed specifically for families with two separate shower facilities and extra closet space to accommodate up to five guests. Of course, guests will also have a wide array of glamorous suites to choose from, including the 1,357-square-foot Pinnacle Suite.
Music played a vital role in the Koningsdam’s design, and nowhere is this more apparent than along the Music Walk, a series of musically-themed entertainment venues covering all genres. It’s here that Lincoln Center Stage features classical recitals and chamber music performances, while Billboard Onboard is an energetic tribute to today’s most popular hits. Last, and definitely not least, is the World Stage – home to five new productions taking full advantage of the theater’s 270-degree LED displays and multiple stage configurations.
Culinary highlights include Sel de Mer, a new French seafood restaurant offering a new take on timeless classics, along with a spectacular Culinary Arts Center featuring a dramatic show kitchen and personal cooking stations for hands-on workshops and demonstrations. To top it all off, you can even pair your meals with wines mixed yourself at BLEND, the first winemaking experience at sea.
”We are excited to welcome the new addition to Holland America’s fleet and look forward to our clients’ feedback as they sail on this beautiful brand new ship” said Karolina Shenton, Senior Marketing Manager at The Cruise Web.
