Travel Agents are “In It to Win It” at Cruise Planners Sold-Out 2014 Annual Convention
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (PRWEB) September 03, 2014 -- Cruise Planners, an American Express Travel Representative, the nation’s largest home-based travel agent franchise network in the travel industry, today announced the much-anticipated Cruise Planners 2014 Annual Convention. This year, the theme is "In It to Win It," which is Cruise Planners commitment to travel franchise owners and a fitting tie-in to the host city of Atlantic City, N.J.
“‘In It to Win It!’ represents how Cruise Planners travel agents have a competitive edge for success,” said Michelle Fee, CEO and co-founder of Cruise Planners, an American Express Travel Representative. “As a company, we are committed to providing the highest level of education, training and networking opportunities so our agents are able to build their businesses, constantly innovate and earn profitable commissions.”
The annual convention will be held at the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City and will feature a five-day, fun-filled, interactive learning forum featuring the industry’s top travel and destinations partners. The schedule is designed to create an immersive environment so travel advisors can absorb the latest travel-related news and trends, while showcasing the company’s corporate culture full of positive Cruisitude™.
“We believe people learn better when they are having fun,” said Vicky Garcia, COO and co-owner. “Our home office team has developed a program focused around building each travel advisor’s skill set – no matter their experience level. Our goal is for everyone to take away action-items they can quickly use to grow their home-based business.”
Convention is Cruise Planners’ key event of the year where the company will release new programs and products for 2015, talk about travel trends and bring agents and travel partners together for the inside scoop. This is also an opportunity for travel advisors to learn from the executive team at Home Office, meet top partners from cruise and land companies, as well as share ideas and get inspired by other Cruise Planners agents. This year’s Cruise Planners convention will focus on luxury cruising, selling land and destinations, marketing skills, peer-to-peer collaboration, and loads more.
“Each year, we outdo ourselves and this year we have some impressive news to share, and we’re eager to see the agents’ reactions when we announce our new products,” Garcia said. “At Cruise Planners, we truly are a family, and our annual convention is like a family reunion for many of our agents, partners and the Home Office team.”
After the land portion of the convention, hundreds of agents will attend a two-night inaugural cruise on the newest Royal Caribbean International cruise ship, Quantum of the Seas, from its homeport of Cape Liberty in Bayonne, New Jersey on November 16.
