“Our practice continues to grow and the new clinic will provide, not only the newest and greatest in dental technology, but will also give us the physical space to welcome additional dentists,” states Dr. John Clay, DDS.

Patients will soon be able to enjoy massage chairs and watching favorite television shows all while they receive their dental services with Dr. John Clay, DDS. The clinic is currently being constructed in the Oak Glen district of Fort Dodge, Iowa with an anticipated opening date of February, 2016.

Dr. John Clay, DDS has been practicing in Fort Dodge since 2003 and the new clinic fulfills an aspiration that has been in the works for many years. It also offers the opportunity to bring in additional dentists to be a part of the clinic in a community that currently is underserved and seeking dentists.

“Our practice continues to grow and the new clinic will provide, not only the newest and greatest in dental technology, but will also give us the physical space to welcome additional dentists,” states Dr. John Clay, DDS. “The opportunity for a dentist in this community is incredible and we are able to offer them a clinical setting that exceeds their expectations.”

The new clinic will include services that are cutting edge in the dental field. Dr. John Clay, DDS will be the only dentist in the area offering CariVu digital imaging. This service uses patented transillumination technology to support the identification of occlusal, interproximal and recurrent carious lesions and cracks. Since transillumination can show lesions in the beginning stages, using CariVu during routine prophylaxis can aid the hygienist in identifying questionable areas early on and decide on a course of preventive care.

Other additions to the clinic will be AcuCam real time photos, a fun interactive room for kids, handicap accessibility throughout the clinic, nitrous oxide in each room, custom massage chairs, along with television so patients can relax during exams and procedures.

“The location of the new clinic will also be very accessible as it is on a highly visible street and has an easy entrance and well-designed parking lot,” adds Dr. John Clay, DDS. “The Glen Oak area is a beautiful setting and really fits the look and feel of our new clinic building.”

Dr. John Clay, DDS is currently located at the Physicians Building on 804 Kenyon Road. The new location will be 1905 North 15th Street, Fort Dodge, IA, 50501.
