New devotional invites readers on ‘A Walk in the Morning Twilight’
OSWEGO, Ill. (PRWEB) November 07, 2014 -- Author Dan O’Neil shares a compilation of his morning reflections – his conversations with God in the early daytime hours – in his new devotional, “A Walk in the Morning Twilight” (published by WestBow Press).
“For the past 20 years, my wife and I have been making a journey of discovery into the joys and intimacy of our Catholic faith,” O’Neil says. “The book I have written is about how our faith teaches us to look at even the challenging situations in our lives as having the potential to bring us closer to God.”
The devotionals included in “A Walk in the Morning Twilight” are a series of excerpts from O’Neil’s personal prayer journal. It contains his questions as to why he has the struggles in life that he does, and what he says are God’s answers to those questions.
Although his prayers are personal, O’Neil knows the challenges, struggles and heartbreaks he has experienced are not all that different from anyone else’s. He hopes readers will be able to insert themselves into his place and experience the same comfort he received from the words that he shares.
