“Magic and miracles are only rare and beyond us because we believe they are,” Clegg says. “People are freeing themselves of such beliefs. These are leading edge moments. Now is the era for clearing away the old to release who we really are.”

Author Dennis N. Clegg, Ph.D., adds startling evidence to what researchers in the power of human intention are concluding: humans are powerfully interconnected.

Clegg’s evocative new book, “The Gods Must Be Us: When Fiction Becomes a Miracle” (published by Balboa Press), is a principle-driven novel. In his book, Clegg embeds a transformational manual in a provoking story of possibilities he claims are potentially as real now as they are in his novel.

“I have been inspired by the power of fiction to get past ego to speak to heart’s knowing,” Clegg says. “I wanted to create a book that connects with each reader where they are and with each re-reading it is a new book, touching their hearts differently each time. What has surprised me is that each time I read it, I experience it at new levels.”

Based on the author’s experiences, “The Gods Must Be Us” follows a group of people caught in the midst of an all-out nuclear war. At their most dire moment, the group undergoes a spiritual awakening, at which point they realize they can neutralize the radiation from atomic blasts. Readers will watch as the protagonists unlock their limitless potential, something Clegg believes all people are capable of.

“In my book,” he explains, “the evolution of characters is challenged by radicals using our most dreaded weapons to carry out their beliefs. The need brings out what is between where the characters ‘are’ and their godly powers. They must face the most dreaded power in the universe and choose their own empowerment over relinquishing their power to traditional belief. From the beginning the story is enriched with concepts destined to change how we live. Following the story reveals a manual for intimately working with energy.”

“Magic and miracles are only rare and beyond us because we believe they are,” Clegg says. “People are freeing themselves of such beliefs. These are leading edge moments. Now is the era for clearing away the old to release who we really are.”
