Gate Precast to Tout ‘Design Assist’ at AIA Show
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) May 13, 2015 -- At this week’s AIA Convention in Atlanta, host chapter platinum sponsor Gate Precast plans to promote the advantages of “Design-Assist Collaboration” during an informational session led by Jim Lewis, Gate’s director of architectural systems.
At 2 p.m. on May 15 in Theater D, Booth 4319 Lewis will discuss the recent innovative trend toward early integration of the design-build process, now called design assist. The design-assist process, combined with the technical expertise of BIM, enables a precast producer to convey earlier in the design how high performance precast can help a building team reach its goals.
