The Disabled Veterans National Foundation (http://www.dvnf.org), a nonprofit veterans service organization that focuses on helping men and women who serve and return home wounded or sick after defending our safety and our freedom, has released a new video featuring a voice message expressing gratitude from a Stand Down Administrator.

“The care kits that you sent us: when they opened those their eyes—their eyebrows and their grins were just—on fire,” Hastings says in the video. “Of all things in all the eight years I’ve been involved [in the Stand Down], these care kits were coveted the most.”

The video also shows a slide show of various veterans and Stand Down events in which DVNF has taken part.
