Newport, RI (PRWEB) October 30, 2013
Drupal Connect announced Monday that it has reached a major milestone for its Drupal Support and Maintenance division with the addition of its 150th Drupal Support client.
John Florez, President and CEO of Drupal Connect, said the development was an indication of the support unit’s overwhelming success. “This is a tremendous milestone for us,” Florez said. “While we are known as a national Drupal development firm, we are equally as strong at providing our clients with Drupal support and ongoing maintenance.”
Drupal Connect has been building websites using the Drupal CMS for sites of all sizes, including Fortune 500 clients such as AOL, General Electric Co., Olympus Corp., and McKesson, as well as top academic clients like Columbia University, Stanford University, and Yale University. The company has a dedicated Drupal support team, and each client is assigned their own project manager and developer, which helps to ensure the best possible communication with the Drupal Connect team, according to Vice President Chris Boag.
Drupal Connect was founded in 2009 at the peak of one of the nation’s worst economic recessions. The company has quickly grown from a two-person operation to become one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S. and one of the largest in the Drupal space, and currently has over fifty employees.
Headquartered in Newport, Rhode Island, Drupal Connect is a full-service Drupal firm offering Drupal development, training and staffing services. The company is engaged in projects worldwide including Sony Music Entertainment, Waste Management Inc., A&E, the New York Stock Exchange, NBC Universal, and the Carter Foundation. It has offices in Newport, R.I.; New York, N.Y.; Atlanta, G.A.; and Austin, T.X., as well as the United Kingdom, France, Australia, and Germany.
Drupal Connect has been named as one of the fastest-growing companies in the nation by Inc. Magazine. In 2012, the company was ranked 266 on the magazine’s annual list of the 500 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S., the “Inc. 500.”
