Louisville, KY (PRWEB) January 03, 2014 -- Evidence In Motion (EIM), a company created to assist in the continued education of physical therapists, is pleased to announce an official partnership with Golden Bear Physical Therapy, a progressive provider of rehabilitation services in Modesto, Turlock, Oakdale, and Patterson, California. As part of the collaboration, Golden Bear Physical Therapy becomes an EIM Tier 1 Program Partner, allowing collaboration on the delivery of EIM’s Orthopaedic Residency, Sports Physical Therapy Residency, Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship, Transition DPT in Musculoskeletal Management, and Manual Physical Therapy Certification training programs.
“Our commitment to the professional development of our therapists is critical to our company’s’ success,” states Golden Bear Physical Therapy Owner, Bobby Ismail. “This partnership will assist us in providing the best possible service to our patients by helping us to stay on the cutting edge of education and training. Our goal of improving the health and quality of life for those in our community will be fortified by our partnership with EIM.”
Using the most up-to-date research and cutting edge technology, EIM is transforming the way physical therapists are trained and educated. EIM’s Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency, Sports Physical Therapy Residency, Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship, Transition DPT in Musculoskeletal Management, and Manual Physical Therapy Certification training programs are delivered to the physical therapist, where they live and work, through web-based educational “distance learning” platforms. Online learning is complimented by a thorough mentoring program and on-site weekend intensives conducted at Network Partner locations throughout the United States.
Many members of EIM’s faculty are recognized internationally for their contributions to education, research, and clinical practice. EIM’s faculty have received ninety-five-plus research grants, totaling over $10.5 million. EIM faculty members have also taught 220-plus university level courses, founded over forty different business organizations, and held appointed positions in forty-plus state and 115-plus national and international professional associations. Under their supervision, Residents and Fellows have the opportunity to receive the highest caliber of training and become distinguished leaders in evidence-based orthopaedic and manual physical therapy practice.
Golden Bear Physical Therapy will serve as a training location for EIM’s clinical residencies, fellowship, and traditional continuing education curriculum. The partnership will also allow Golden Bear Physical Therapy to expand their internal clinical education and research activities. Several of the offerings included in the Residency and Fellowship curricula will be made available to other Golden Bear Physical Therapy staff, enhancing lifelong learning and quality improvement initiatives for many of their professional personnel.
