Latina Immigrant Elisabete Miranda is Living American Dream as Award-Winning President & CEO of CQ fluency
Hackensack, N.J. (PRWEB) October 18, 2016 -- Since coming to the United States from Brazil in 1994, Elisabete Miranda, president and CEO of CQ fluency in Hackensack, N.J. has worked hard to attain the quintessential American dream. CQ fluency, which provides culturally relevant language services, was named to the 2016 Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Companies in America, and will be honored by the National Minority Supplier Diversity Council (NMSDC) with the Regional Supplier of the Year – Class II award for the Northeast Region; both honors will take place this month.
This is the third time CQ fluency has been named to the Inc. 5000 list; the first time was in 2014. “We are so thrilled to receive this honor from Inc. for three consecutive years, this is a big accomplishment and I’m so proud of our team” said Miranda. The list is chosen by the magazine’s editors based on revenue growth over the prior three-year period. Alumni of the prestigious list include Microsoft, Under Armour, Zappos, Intuit and Clif Bar. Honorees will be recognized at the Inc. conference and gala October 18-20, in San Antonio, Texas.
On October 26, Miranda will accept an award as the Regional Supplier of the Year – Class II from the National Minority Supplier Diversity Council, at the organization’s annual awards banquet at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. CQ fluency is certified as a minority-owned business by the NMSDC and Elisabete is on the board of NY-NJ NMSDC, serving on the Minority Business Enterprise Input Committee (MBEIC). The regional award places CQ fluency in the running for the National Supplier of the Year honors.
“CQ and I are beyond excited to win the regional award and very grateful by the trust our clients have in us that make this possible,” said Miranda. The Supplier of the Year award is given annually to minority suppliers who have distinguished themselves and their businesses by successfully demonstrating growth in sales and employment while overcoming significant obstacles, consistently providing high quality products, services and solutions at competitive prices and significantly contributing to the growth and development of their community. There are approximately 11,000 NMSDC-certified minority businesses across the country that are eligible to be nominated.
“I am living the perfect example of the American dream and am so grateful to this country for the opportunities I’ve had,” Miranda said. “I am proof that when you give people an opportunity to come here and create a better life for themselves, it bears tremendous fruit for all.”
