Groove, a Baltimore-based creative marketing, web design and development agency, has added Eric Jones as Chief Customer Officer (CCO). As CCO, Jones will lead the agency’s business development and account management teams.

Groove tapped Jones for his expertise around new client acquisition, client growth and advancement, as well as product and service expansion opportunities.

“Eric brings a great deal of experience, from both the agency and the customer perspective, and we are excited for him to join us. Jones brings two decades of strategic marketing and business development experience to Groove. He has held marketing leadership positions in various industries, including finance, real estate, and technology. Most recently, Jones was the Vice President of Client Strategy for Jellyfish, a global performance-based digital marketing agency, leading the integration of multiple service lines and creating innovative solutions through an understanding of the customer journey and business. As Vice President of Digital Marketing for R2integrated, a digital marketing and technology agency, he was credited for increasing retained client service revenues from $150K in 2009 to more than $7 million annually in 2013.

A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Eric earned a B.A. in Marketing.
