To Support World Animal Day, Fashion First Aid WIll Make Additional Donation to Animal Shelter for Facebook Selfie With Animal Posts
Ketchum, ID (PRWEB) September 30, 2014 -- World Animal Day is this Friday, 03 October, 2014, and Fashion First Aid is stepping up their philanthropy for animals. For every selfie someone posts with a favorite pet on Facebook on World Animal Day, tagging @FashionFirstAid, Fashion First Aid will donate an extra $1 to Animal Shelter of Wood River Valley. (one donation per Facebook account)
Fashion First Aid thinks it is important to give back and give locally, which is why they give 1% of SALES (not profits) each month to the Animal Shelter of Wood River Valley in their 1% for Puppies Program, which supports puppies AND kitties. By donating in this way, some of last month's sales is already providing pet food for families that have fallen on hard times, spaying & neutering animals in neighboring communities, and helping with operating costs of this awesome no-kill shelter. Fashion First Aid also reposts the Shelter's Pet of the Week on Facebook to help find forever homes for awesome animals.
Kim Castellano, aka Honest Kim, Founder and Chief Inventor at Fashion First Aid, will kick off the posting with a photo of her and her favorite furball, Schooner, a 9 year old Australian Shepherd who is the Chief Security Officer at Fashion First Aid. "I'm posting a selfie with Schooner to support World Animal Day and kick off the animal post-athon." (Schooner has problems taking his own selfies due to a lack of thumbs.)
Fashion First Aid (Solutions That Stick Inc.) invents and manufactures both wacky and useful personal care products that you will never see someone else wearing, unless you take off his/her clothes. Recently relocated from Southern California to Idaho, we began in 1999 with one product, Garment Guard: disposable underarm shields (because the founder was a broke law student who was tired of her expensive white t-shirts getting ruined by underarm taco stains.) Now, with almost 50 products on the market, over 10 in the works, and a light and upbeat book entitled The Dirty Side of Fashion, the corporate mission is still to save the world from beauty and fashion disasters, help make clothes last longer, and offer gag gifts that make people laugh out loud.
