What to Do When Fashion Disaster Strikes: Fashion First Aid Founder Kim Castellano to Speak at Los Angeles Ultimate Women’s Expo
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 14, 2014 -- Fashion First Aid founder and wardrobe malfunction expert, Kim Castellano, will be speaking about what to do when fashion emergency strikes on Saturday, May 17th at 2:30pm at the Los Angeles Mart. Kim will share her tips and tricks for cashmere care, bra-blems, what to do with the girls, DIY shoe fixes, how to use double-sided tape and why Fashion Staple is your new best friend. This program is part of the Los Angeles Ultimate Women’s Expo where Fashion First Aid will be on-site May 17 and May 18 to share the brand’s assortment of shoe fixers, stain and smell preventers, bra accessories and fashion helpers that stop fashion disasters in their tracks.
A former lawyer turned inventor, Kim Castellano left the lucrative life of an attorney to launch Fashion First Aid in 1999. Tired of her expensive white T-shirts getting ruined by underarm stains, she introduced Garment Guard, the first disposable adhesive underarm shields. With numerous patents and trademarks and a collection of more than 45 clever solutions, Kim is still following her corporate mission to save the word from beauty and fashion disasters, while helping clothes last longer. Her best-selling products like Quick Fix Sticks adhesive wardrobe remedies, Flat Liners footwear odor killers and Skid Out deodorant, drip and drool erasers have become favorites of stylists, editors and savvy fashionistas.
The Los Angeles Ultimate Women’s Expo will take place on Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18 at historic Los Angeles Mart at 1933 South Broadway in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. Fashion First Aid can be found at booth 536.
Fashion First Aid (Solutions That Stick Inc.) invents and manufactures both wacky and useful personal care products that you will never see someone else wearing, unless you take off his/her clothes. Recently relocated from Southern California to Idaho, we began in 1999 with one product, Garment Guard: disposable underarm shields (because the founder was a broke law student who was tired of her expensive white t-shirts getting ruined by underarm taco stains). Now, with over 45 products on the market, over 10 in the works, and a light and upbeat book entitled The Dirty Side of Fashion, the corporate mission is still to save the world from beauty and fashion disasters and help make clothes last longer.
