Schrock Insurance Group announced the debut of its charity program designed to benefit the local community. The agency will work closely with nonprofit organizations in the area, to nominate a new beneficiary every 60 days. The idea is to create a campaign to help the elected individual, family or programs with immediate support by bringing awareness to those very important causes.

To launch the program, Nicholas Schrock, the agency’s principal, has chosen to introduce the campaign Help Ellie Shine at Summer Camp. The campaign’s mission is to help Ellie, a ten-year old girl with Down syndrome and ADHD, benefit from Ferndale Youth Assistance upcoming summer camp program. Ferndale Youth Assistance is a non-profit prevention program that services the students and families of the Ferndale, Michigan school district. The organization offers multiple programs, including emergency grants (winter clothing, school supplies, etc. for families in need), scholarships for extra-curricular activities in which a child would not normally be able to participate due to costs, family education and the highlighted summer camp and much more.

“We are very excited to work with this amazing organization in our community. Ferndale Youth Assistance was one of the first organizations I felt compelled to support with our agency’s new community program. They have provided many smiles to local families and bringing one to Ellie’s face, through the summer camp, is on our agenda”, said Nicholas Schrock, founder and President of Schrock Insurance Group.

Each new cause showcased by the agency will accompany a detailed full story about the elected cause on a designated donations page. To join the Schrock Insurance Group in supporting Ellie and the Ferndale Youth Assistance organization, donors are encouraged to visit the and share it with their friends and family through social media and email.

With the newly launched program, Schrock Insurance Group takes responsibility for promoting that page through its many channels, to include its own database of thousands of customers, business partners, staff, neighbors and friends.

The agency also owns a monthly publication, Our Hometown magazine, which reserves a full page featuring the campaign of the chosen cause. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue of the magazine can be accessed here:
