Washington DC (PRWEB) January 16, 2014 -- The inaugural Financial Educators Day will be recognized on April 25, 2014. For those organizations and individuals desiring to recognize the people who promote financial wellness, the National Financial Educators Council is making turnkey campaign resources available.
These complimentary resources will include educator appreciation cards, financial literacy lesson plans, proclamations, social media postings, posters, and guides.
The National Financial Educators Council also honors financial educators and advocates by providing them with Certificates recognizing their efforts. Award recipients are those with a demonstrated commitment to creating positive change in people’s financial behaviors, raising awareness about financial literacy, and/or supporting sustainable financial education programs that have lasting impact on people’s lives for years to come.
All nominees will receive recognition by the NFEC via electronic certificate during April, which is Financial Literacy Month. Select individuals will receive certificates and additional tokens of our appreciation via direct mail.
Trevor Stoll, Director of Operations for the NFEC, contends, “There are people coordinating financial education programming, teaching workshops, advocating for financial literacy, and participating in numerous other tasks that contribute to the overall financial literacy movement. Financial Educators Day recognizes their efforts and commitment.”
The National Financial Educators Council is a social enterprise organization that promotes financial literacy. The NFEC develops comprehensive campaigns to raise awareness and help people gain access to a practical financial education.
