New York, NY (PRWEB) February 14, 2014
Asbestos got the better of New York's Wayne County departments. Based on a report from fltimes.com, it recently forced their relocation. In response to it, AGC Environmental, a Florida asbestos testing company, gave out an advise how the public could prevent such a problem.
According to the report, dated February 13, 2014, the department offices at 26 Church St would be transferred to various temporary locations in the county to give way to the asbestos abatement. And as it detailed, the relocation was estimated to last until April.
Nevertheless, the report relayed that the phone numbers of each department will remain the same. It shared that the public would also be informed of the offices' new locations.
In addition to the departments, the Board of Supervisors and its committees would also be relocated, the post related.
Below is an excerpt from the report.
“A slew of Wayne County departments are relocating temporarily because of an asbestos abatement project at the old county courthouse.
The offices in the 26 Church St. building are expected to remain vacant through the end of April. The county said telephone numbers will not change and signs will be posted telling people where to go.”
Like mold, asbestos could also compromise health, said AGC Environmental. Exposure to its fibers, it shared, could cause mesothelioma in humans. Also, it said that it could significantly increase lung cancer risk.
Nonetheless, those serious medical conditions and other major problems the fibrous mineral could bring could be prevented, it said. And the way to do it, it specified, is to confirm its presence early and to implement asbestos removal promptly.
However, for a Florida asbestos testing, AGC Environmental said it would be most beneficial for the public to employ its service rather than that of other companies. As it pointed out, that's because its process is in accordance with the state's federal guideline and is implemented by certified professionals.
The same with its other environmental services such as Florida air quality testing and lead-based paint removal, the company said that its Florida asbestos testing and asbestos removal also offer documented expert assessments that could be used in various court purposes.
