Formedix and OmniComm Systems® Partnership Strengthened with the Release of Enhanced TrialMaster® Integration for EDC Build

The company launched its integration with TrialMaster, a leading-edge system for electronic data capture (EDC) and clinical data management. Formedix, a renowned provider of universal design and study execution tools added TrialMaster to its Transform for EDC product line. This latest, and much anticipated version of Transform for TrialMaster, is being released this week, in response to market demands for even tighter integration between these two prominent software products.
Formedix Transform can further enhance the fast study set-up times in TrialMaster by allowing instantaneous visualization of TrialMaster eCRFs as they are designed. In addition, study builds are automated, and drag-and-drop reuse is enhanced by leveraging portable, vendor neutral CDISC designs.
The new improved version of Transform for TrialMaster now includes the ability to specify edit checks, so that the vast majority of the TrialMaster study design may now be generated from the Formedix tool. In addition, new and exciting functionality enables a more streamlined TrialMaster to CDISC SDTM process by predicting TrialMaster dataset exports, prior to TrialMaster EDC build. Database programmers and biostatisticians can now produce specifications of how TrialMaster datasets will map to CDISC SDTM datasets before first patient in, thereby complementing TrialMaster’s ability to actually produce those SDTM datasets. Transform for TrialMaster, coupled with Formedix Origin, facilitates reuse of source TrialMaster dataset designs, target CDISC SDTM designs and mappings from study-to-study. All these new capabilities lead to even greater reductions in mapping reprogramming and QC activities and show reductions in the total time and cost of end-to-end trials.
This latest release from Formedix offers even more to CROs and sponsors, providing more choice when selecting an EDC system to build in. With Formedix, you can design in one tool and output to many EDC systems, meaning training only needs to happen in one tool.
