Fridayd, Charlotte NC-based start-up, Job Hacks Online Job Search and Application Process
Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) May 06, 2015 -- Fridayd LLC, focused on dramatically changing the dynamics of the online search and application process for job seekers, announced the results of its first wave beta results and its engagement in a Kickstarter campaign to finance its initial software build out.
Fridayd was formed in December 2014 with the insight that the online search and application process is time-consuming and repetitive for the average job seeker. Applicants spend countless hours online searching job boards and filling out applications, putting the rest of their life on hold. The job seeker is busy stressing out instead of preparing for success.
Fridayd recently took its first wave of customers, roughly 25% of the total current enrollees, through its 30-day beta testing its unique service offering. Fridayd reviewed 76,000 jobs from different sources for this group and recommended only 644 jobs to users, with an acceptance rate of 55% from the user. Furthermore, Fridayd applied to 239 positions on behalf of users. Fridayd performed 375 hours of intelligent job search while simultaneously recommending targeted networking connections at the employers for these jobs. The 375 hours represent over nine weeks search and application time saved by users, freeing them to spend that time preparing for interviews, networking or doing life-enriching activities.
“These results reflect the true efficiency we bring to the online job search process. They demonstrate the value to job seekers of ‘outsourcing’ this part of the process, and how our mission of bringing outsourcing to the masses can improve peoples’ lives” said Carlos E. Paz, CEO of Fridayd, “People’s time is valuable. The Fridayd suite of services allows job seekers to focus on the critical areas of networking, researching, or preparing for interviews. We optimize and accelerate the job search of Fridayd users so they land their dream jobs faster.”
Fridayd’s offering is simple and turnkey. Users provide Fridayd specialists with information to conduct job searches. The specialists find the appropriate jobs that meet search criteria. The user rates each job and indicates which ones to apply for. The company applies and monitors progress. Through the job rating process, the company is able refine the parameters of the search resulting in ever more targeted job search results.
While Fridayd currently uses employees to do all the research and applications of jobs the company is in the midst of a Kickstarter campaign to develop software that will automate large elements of the process allowing algorithms to match user requirements with opportunities, monitor and manage searches, recommend contacts in user networks to engage with for relevant opportunities. Backers receive Fridayd t-shirts, mugs and free trials of the service depending on the level of their contribution.
