Furdiburb, the Virtual Pet, Has Been Submitted for App Store Review
Orange, CA (PRWEB) September 10, 2013 -- Currently available only for Android devices, Sheado.net is pleased to announce that virtual pet Furdiburb has been submitted to the App Store for review. An app submission does not mean automatic acceptance as the app can still be rejected for numerous reasons, but it is a milestone for the small company.
"Furdiburb had essentially been in beta since day one," remarked Chad Ata, lead developer. "In the early days, Furdiburb was a simple virtual pet with commonplace abilities such as eating, sleeping, and pooping. Over the years, we've listened to all of the Furdi fans out there and have refined and added many gameplay elements."
"Thanks to our fans, Furdiburb has evolved into a mysterious adventure game in which the main character is a fully featured virtual pet. After more than 22 major iterations the game finally came out of beta at the end of last year. It was at that point that we finally felt that it was ready to port over to the App Store. We're very pleased with the end result, and we hope that iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch users will love the game."
After vacationing on Earth, Furdiburb's parents accidentally leave their baby alien behind. Players adopt their virtual pet and care for him by hatching, growing fun fruits to feed him, bathing him, and curing illnesses. Players can also customize his looks, furniture, and house with fun-themed designs.
Once players discover a broken spaceship, the adventure aspect of the game requires users to solves puzzles and play mini-games in order to create and collect ship parts necessary to repair the spacecraft. The gameplay includes fishing, star jumping, bug dodging, farming, music mini-games, and object manipulation as well as story puzzles.
