Life’s challenges and vicissitudes contrast the beauty and dignity of love, yet it is that aspect of contrast that highlights the simple pleasures one encounters in this existence. From Our Hearts To Yours by Rev. Dr. Geraldine J. Jones is a collection of poetry and prose encapsulating the joys of faith, hope and love, written by a grandmother and her two granddaughters, an act that, in itself, reflects brightly upon the niceties of life.
In a small town in southern Delaware, the grandmother, granddaughters and their family tell and depict sound family values weaved around their faith, delivering invaluable lessons and messages for youths today, along with their loved ones and families. That is the core of From Our Hearts To Yours, with its assorted tales, letters, rhymes and verses that capture the memories of Rev. Jones and her family. Through her words, readers will witness the lives the author and her loved ones lived, to join them in their most intimate moments, to share their laughs, their tears, their joys and their sorrows. This compilation serves as a sweet reminiscence of bygone days, a window to the past and a mirror of the soul, a treasure of nostalgia, and an heirloom for future generations.
“So I thought that I would preserve some of those stories and memories just for you. I hope that you will keep the stories for your children and grandchildren,” Rev. Jones shares.
Readers will be delighted as a family’s memories will be passed on through the touching tales and heartwarming verses of Rev. Jones as she reveals the past she shared with her loved ones in this anthology that goes From Our Hearts To Yours.
