We’re thrilled to join GRESB. It confirms our contribution to their mission of improving sustainability best practices and validates our strength in the reporting ecosystem overall.

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) June 24, 2014

Measurabl, the cloud-based solution for sustainability reporting, has joined the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) as an Associate Data Member. Associate Members are leading advisors, service providers and product vendors that provide added value by offering solutions to increase participants' sustainability performance.

GRESB is the world’s leading sustainability benchmark for commercial real estate owners, asset managers and developers. Its annual survey period opens April 1 and closes July 1. Nearly 50,000 commercial properties and 550 companies responded to GRESB in 2013 with more reporters expected this year as pressure mounts from real estate investors who are demanding better disclosure around sustainability
performance.

“We’re pleased to add Measurabl to our Associate Member network. They have demonstrated a commitment to helping property companies and funds report to GRESB, and to provide more accurate data, which is a core tenet of our overall mission to improve the depth and breadth of our benchmark,” says Nils Kok, Executive Director of GRESB.

Measurabl’s cloud-based software automatically collects asset-level data and guides users step-by-step through the GRESB reporting process. Users of Measurabl’s software include real estate titans like Clarion Partners and the flagship US business unit of CBRE Global Investors, as well as smaller, first time GRESB participants like Gerding Edlen.

Measurabl is already piloting or in talks to develop its second generation of reporting solutions intended to support the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and others.

“We’re thrilled to join GRESB. It confirms our contribution to their mission of improving sustainability best practices and validates our strength in the reporting ecosystem overall,” says Matt Ellis, Founder and CEO of Measurabl. “We are continuing to add reporting capabilities - investing well over one million dollars in 2014 alone – with the mission of making it easier and more accurate to respond to these sustainability standards. Our goal is to expand participation in benchmarks like GRESB and help our clients more easily and accurately disclose their performance.”
