Greenberg Traurig’s Camille M. Evans Recognized with ONYX Magazine Women On The Move Honor

Evans, a Shareholder in the Public Finance Practice of the Orlando office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, was recently recognized as a “Woman on the Move” by ONYX Magazine. This prestigious designation recognizes the accomplishments and contributions of some of Florida’s most influential and impactful women of color. As stated at the luncheon honoring the “Women on the Move,” the women recognized by ONYX Magazine in 2017 embody a can-do spirit that’s shattering glass ceilings, helping them to achieve their full potential, and paving the way for future generations of leaders.
Evans focuses her practice on public finance, serving as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, underwriter’s counsel, bank’s counsel, and trustee’s counsel for both publicly and privately offered financings. Her transaction experience extends to a wide array of sectors, including general government, airports, health care, toll roads, K-12 education, higher education, community development districts, water, sewer and electric utilities, and industrial development.
Evans’ service to her community includes serving on the Boards of Directors for The Creative City Project, the West Orange Chamber of Commerce, and the West Orange Political Alliance, and as member of the Finance Committee for Health Central Hospital and the WESH-TV African Heritage Advisory Committee. Her professional involvement includes being a member of the National Association of Securities Professionals and the National Association of Bond Lawyers, and the current Vice-Chair of The Florida Bar’s Student Education and Admissions to the Bar Committee. She often serves on committees and panels focused on securities and finance law and the training and development of young professionals.
Evans received her J.D., cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
