Young Professionals in Chicago Raised Over $46,000 for Cancer Research
SCHAUMBURG, Ill (PRWEB) November 26, 2014 -- The Associates Board of Gateway for Cancer Research hosted their inaugural Be A Hero Cocktail Reception on Friday, November 14, at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers.
Nearly 200 heroes united to enjoy drinks, appetizers, music, silent auction bidding and a special appearance by Chicago Bears star linebacker Khaseem Green. The heroic evening raised over $46,000 which will be applied to fund additional meaningful and breakthrough clinical trials that will help people living with cancer to feel better, live longer and conquer cancer today!
