Unique Book Shares Dialogue Between a Husband and His Wife Concerning Marriage Issues
Monterey, CA (PRWEB) September 13, 2013 -- Every marriage is a partnership of two individuals, each of whom has strengths and weaknesses. For a marriage to survive, it is important that each marriage partner understands the different experiences and perspectives that their partner brings to the marriage relationship. Marriages may begin with a romantic idea of love, but that alone is usually not enough to ensure a long-lasting union.
“Being Together,” written by authors Gene Barnes and Susan Rautine presents a dialogue between a husband and a wife (the authors themselves) concerning the issues that commonly arise in marriages—including their own. This dialogue consists of e-mails written to each other (like letters in an earlier era.) Conflicting opinions and uncomfortable feelings were not edited out. The authors believe that, whenever possible, honest communication is the best way to deal with the difficulties that arise in a marriage.
The purpose of the marriage dialogue contained in this book is to illuminate some of the differences in marriage relationships and to suggest possible accommodations to resolve marital issues. Some marriage partners may feel that it is a mistake to discuss such differences. However, this book is not intended to make anyone uncomfortable.
“Being Together” is a beneficial book for all unmarried, married, separated, and divorced people everywhere as it provides a better understanding of the different experiences and perspectives each partner brings to the marriage relationship.
