Cancer survivor Geoff Berman writes of life after diagnosis
PALM DESERT, Calif. (PRWEB) May 19, 2015 -- When author Geoff Berman was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma at age 60, he started recording nearly every thought he had in his journal. Writing helped him cope and make sense of the disease.

In Berman’s book, he candidly discusses his good days as well as his bad days living with cancer. He notes that the love and support of family and friends were vital as he faced adversity. Love and support, he states, won’t cure the disease, but can empower an individual and make life worth living.
For those battling cancer, Berman hopes his story to beat the disease will serve as an inspiration. He feels that many never hear the positive stories after a cancer diagnosis is given, and that his story will show how an optimistic attitude can make any situation less daunting.
“This book is my daily effort to recognize that with the sun being up and me not lying in bed,” Berman says, “it had to be a good day.”
