Glendora Fit Body Boot Camp Rallies the Community to Melt 1,000 Pounds of Fat for Local Charity, Announces 1,000 lb Meltdown Challenge
Glendora, CA (PRWEB) April 03, 2014 -- Glendora Fit Body Boot Camp announces plans to launch of a community-wide 1,000 Pound Meltdown Challenge on April 21st, hoping to bring people together to support the local charity, House of Ruth, an organization whose mission is to advocate for and assist women and children victimized by domestic violence.
The Glendora boot camp’s goal for their 1,000 Pound Meltdown Challenge is to raise funds for the House of Ruth by challenging the community to lose 1,000 pounds in 28 days through their 30-minute fat burning workouts and expert nutritional guidance.
Co-owner of the Glendora Fit Body Boot Camp, Leandro Cabico explains, “The House of Ruth is a truly important organization that really looks out for the victims of domestic violence, and as a fitness business owner who works with mostly women, I felt it was important to get involved to not only raise awareness on this issue, but to also help the community lose weight and get in great shape.”
Fit Body Boot Camp’s 1,000 Pound Meltdown Challenge is open to local residents who want to lose weight, tone up, and support this cause. The fee to participate in the 28-day fitness challenge is $49, which includes meal plans and nutritional guidance along with unlimited workouts and support.
Certified personal trainer and other co-owner of Glendora Fit Body Boot Camp, Alexx Gibson, says he is excited to launch the citywide fitness challenge.
