Gliimpse Personal Health Data Platform featured at Medicine X, as finalist in Health 2.0 Competition, gets nod for PMWC Chair and gets National Science Foundation Grant
Silicon Valley, CA (PRWEB) September 10, 2015 -- Gliimpse, the world’s first Personal Health Data Platform allowing any U.S. consumer to aggregate, personalize and securely share a picture of their personal health data, is pleased to announce four notable milestones as they prepare to launch their product in Beta on October 7th:
-Anil Sethi, Gliimpse’s CEO and Founder, will be speaking on September 26 at The Stanford Medicine X Conference with his presentation, When Personal Becomes Portable: The Future of The Empowered Patient.
-Gllimpse was recently nominated to be one of ten finalists in the prestigious Health 2.0 Conference Launch! competition, where Gliimpse President and co-founder Karthik Hariharan will be demoing the product live, coinciding with Gliimpse’s Beta launch on October 7th.
-Anil Sethi has been invited to serve as Chair for the Personalized Medicine World Conference (PMWC) working session resulting in a U.S. de facto standard for a simple data model combining a patient’s cancer genomic profile with their clinical and self-reported data. This Portable Cancer Model (PCM) will further accelerate the rise of the Empowered Patient, mirroring Gliimpse’s mission to provide all 317 million people in the U.S. with a personalized and sharable health summary. In the past, Sethi led the work driving the Clinical Document Architecture project that became the National Standard for both HHS/ONC and Medicare, providing a promising precedent for the rapid adoption of the PCM.
-Gliimpse is also the recent recipient of an NSF SBIR (National Science Foundation Small Business Innovation Research) grant for its work on extracting clinical patient health data from proprietary systems. The grant was supported by Jesus V. Soriano, M.D., Ph.D., M.B.A.
“We are thrilled to be recognized by these prestigious organizations,” notes Sethi. “Our goal is to honor the efforts of patient-centric communities like NoMUwithoutMe and Free The Data so our platform that allows people to aggregate, personalize and share personal health data serves their needs to evolve digital health.”
Gliimpse is a Silicon Valley start-up and has incubated its core technology and product over the past 18+ months in preparation for its public market launch on October 7, 2015.
-Sethi and Hariharan will be available for interviews, demos and meetings at Medicine X and Health 2.0.
