“If we are to experience the blessed assurance that he so freely gives,” Lavoie says, “we mustn’t be lapse in fulfilling the roles he has blessed us with.”

Author Gloria Laura Lavoie felt inspired by the Holy Spirit after spending much time in prayer and acknowledging the issues that families face today, both culturally and faithfully. Her new book, “Heirs of Salvation: The Blessed Assurance and Expectant Joy of Our Descendant’s Salvation” (published by WestBow Press), takes a different approach to recognizing the blessings she says Christians already have in God.

“We must take our faith and God’s promises and realize the power that we have with both,” Lavoie says. “He has offered a covenant with us, and we don’t have to rely on our weak perceptions of what his promises say and who they are for.”

Lavoie hopes to offer encouragement and guidance to parents and grandparents during a politically charged, faith-challenged time of global and national cultural war. She takes readers to God’s Word for a heightened sense of all his promises, so they may claim victory in their hearts while waiting for the finish line.

“If we are to experience the blessed assurance that he so freely gives,” Lavoie says, “we mustn’t be lapse in fulfilling the roles he has blessed us with.”
