Author Gloria Lopez is mother to Michael who was born with a disability. Through him, she gained her personal experience and knowledge about the importance of documenting daily information to ensure her son’s well-being. For over 41 years, Gloria Lopez has worked with children with disabilities and their families and with adults who were diagnosed with medical conditions later in life. A mother of three children, her son was born with a disability: spina bifida.
