HS-UK appoints a Clinical Training Manager to lead new training and education function

Haag-Streit UK, the leading manufacturer and distributor of gold-standard optometry and ophthalmic equipment, is pleased to announce the appointment of Grant Duncan in the role of Clinical Training Manager, to join the 45-strong team. Grant will be responsible for developing and managing the training and education function for HS-UK’s comprehensive portfolio of products and services.

Haag-Streit UK, the leading manufacturer and distributor of gold-standard optometry and ophthalmic equipment, is pleased to announce the appointment of Grant Duncan in the role of Clinical Training Manager, to join the 45-strong team. Grant will be responsible for developing and managing the training and education function for HS-UK’s comprehensive portfolio of products and services.

Grant has worked in the field of medical imaging since 1992 and is currently Chairman of the British Association of Retinal Screening (BARS). A trained medical photographer and a highly-experienced retinal grader, Grant designed and delivered a number of diabetic eye screening services across the south-east of England during his 14 years working for the NHS.

Bringing with him a wealth of clinical knowledge and expertise, Grant is a regular speaker at both national and international conferences and has contributed to a number of ophthalmology publications.

Grant has a strong and extensive ophthalmic background and will be a great asset to the company.
