Author Gregory Bedner knows the pain and hardships recovering alcoholics face every day. A former addict himself, Bedner works tirelessly with other alcoholics and substance abusers, providing professional counseling and giving them his unwavering support and empathy.
His new book, “Freedom from Addiction: Story of Redemption and Forgiveness” (published by WestBow Press), recounts Bedner’s own battle with addiction and how he came to rely on God when he needed him most.
Bedner shares his personal experiences with alcoholism and substance abuse in an effort to help others. He incorporates his knowledge as a professional counselor and discusses the biggest challenges he faced during the recovery process. His decision to follow Jesus Christ made the biggest impact on his life, and he hopes readers will do the same.
“This book is focused on helping those who are suffering from addiction,” Bedner says, “but it can also appeal to those who are not addicts or alcoholics as I provide real life examples of how I found peace and purpose in a life serving my creator.”
“Freedom from Addiction.”
