The New Physician Dashboard from Health Data Intelligence Sets the Stage for Analyzing and Monitoring PQRS Outcomes for all Medicare Providers Starting in 2014
Columbus, OH (PRWEB) December 03, 2013 -- Health Data Intelligence (HDI) is pleased to announce the introduction of the Physician Dashboard into its premier CarePlan Dashboard Suite. The new Physician Dashboard depicts a variety of analytics specific to more than 860,000 physicians and other healthcare professionals enrolled in the Medicare program as required by the Affordable Care Act (ACA) of 2010. This comprehensive set of physician dashboards is designed to enable hospitals and health systems, group practices, and individual practitioners track and monitor practitioner quality performance as it relates to CMS incentive programs such as the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS).
HDI’s Physician Dashboard includes tabs for physician profiles, group practices, and a PQRS measure directory. Available analytics include detailed hospital and group practice statistics, practitioner profiles with unique provider identifiers, education and training, hospital and group practice affiliations, primary and secondary specialty listings, and comprehensive PQRS measure listings and definitions.
Starting in 2014, this dashboard will also display individual physician PQRS outcomes; clinical and financial results by hospital, provider and group practice; physician peer to peer performance benchmarking; group practice internal and external benchmarking, among other analyses. The new dashboard will also utilize advanced predictive engines and sophisticated statistical algorithms provided by our strategic partner Analytics Inside (AI) to predict outcomes such as length of stay, mortality, and readmissions at the individual patient level, hospital level, physician panel level, or group practice level.
Navigation within the Physician Dashboard occurs via tabs, with graphical and tabular views for any selected period, tooltips that provide rich metadata when a user hovers over any data point, filtering capabilities down to individual physicians or group practice level, CMS measure codes to help users uniquely identify PQRS metrics, and an About page that provides detailed metric definitions, external links, and other useful information.
Hospitals, health systems, and media organizations are invited to test drive the new HDI dashboard application with a free 7-day preview. To learn more about this new analytic package and to download detailed product data sheets, please visit the Health Data Intelligence corporate website.
