Jeff Rumburg, co-founder and Managing Partner of MetricNet, presented Session 309, ‘The 80/20 Rule for Desktop Support KPI's: Less is More!’, at the Annual HDI Conference in Orlando, FL. This marks the 19th time Mr. Rumburg has been selected as a speaker for the HDI Service and Support Conference.
In the first of his two presentations to be delivered at the conference, Mr. Rumburg discussed the importance of adopting a holistic approach to performance measurement and management and demonstrated how KPIs can be used to drive world-class performance and give organizations a competitive advantage.
“An increasing number of progressive support organizations recognize that when it comes to performance metrics, less really is more! They have discovered the 80/20 rule as it applies to performance measurement in desktop support. These world-class organizations have learned that the effective application of just seven KPIs is all that is required for measuring, managing, and continuously improving their desktop support performance.”
Those interested in this presentation can find a copy of the slide deck on MetricNet’s website. Mr. Rumburg will also be presenting Session 607, ‘Leveraging KPI's to Maximize the ROI of Support’, at the HDI Conference on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 2:45pm. Senior-level VPs, directors, managers, CIOs, CTOs and all other service and support professionals are encouraged to attend.
Mr. Rumburg is this year’s winner of the prestigious Ron Muns Lifetime Achievement Award for service and support. He currently serves on HDI's Strategic Advisory Board and has been retained as a service desk and desktop support expert by some of the world's largest corporations, including American Express, Hewlett-Packard, General Motors, and IBM.
