Author H. J. Stephens uncovers her new publication, When There's No Tomorrow, where the war does not only stirs but engulfs the whole world. It examines how the war can ruin lives and leave the survivors with a nightmare which is more than they can handle.

The first in a trilogy, this book follows the journey of a girl who faces the darkest moments of war and explores the reality of such a story. The majority of people that face horrors such as genocide, mutilation, violent discrimination and murder do not simply get up, dust themselves down and walk away. They have to deal with the nightmare for a very long time. Sometimes; it may even take the rest of their lives. When people don’t know what they’re fighting for anymore, who decides which is right and what is not?

There is only so much the human mind can take before it folds in on itself to protect its very existence. There is only so much pointless violence that people can justify before they realise that everything is not as it seems. Kalina, the daughter of the leader of the Forgotten, is not a hero that will be the world’s sole saviour. She is just a teenage girl that has lived her life on the run, but when she stops running and turns around, everything catches up with her.

Fast-paced and powerfully moving, When There's No Tomorrow explores the journey that the mind takes when put in a situation of no hope, compassion and purpose. Readers will walk in Kalina’s shoes as she struggles to find who she is, who she should fight for and what she should do in a world where simply surviving is a challenge.
