Minneapolis (PRWEB) January 30, 2014
Healthcare Real Estate Insights™ has announced the winners of the inaugural HREI Insights Awards™, the only national awards totally dedicated to recognizing excellence in the areas of healthcare real estate (HRE) development and executive leadership. The 2013 awards were presented in nine different categories during the RealShare Healthcare Real Estate Conference in Scottsdale, Ariz., Dec. 11.
The new awards were presented by HREI™, the first and only national magazine entirely devoted to covering HRE development, financing and investment. The Platinum Sponsor of the awards and the presentation was GE Capital, Healthcare Financial Services.
“As the leading provider of tailored financing solutions for medical properties and the broader healthcare real estate sector, we felt it was only fitting for GE to be the lead sponsor of the first annual HREI Insights Awards™,” explains Jim Seymour, Real Estate Finance Senior Managing Director, GE Capital, Healthcare Financial Services. “These prestigious national awards celebrate the same entrepreneurial spirit and creativity we are dedicated to supporting every day with our customized financing solutions. Erik Tellefson and I and the entire GE team sincerely congratulate this year’s well-deserving Winners.”
“As the healthcare real estate sector has grown and matured, the lack of a comprehensive national awards program seemed like a more glaring omission every year,” HREI Publisher Murray W. Wolf explains. “There are awards recognizing design and other aspects of healthcare facilities but until now, there were no awards focusing on the real estate strategies and stories behind successful projects.”
Mr. Wolf added, “It’s really been a pleasure celebrating the remarkable achievements of a select group of HRE professionals through this inaugural awards program. Thanks to the tremendous support we’ve received for this initiative, we’re fully committed to continuing the HREI Insights Awards as an annual event.”
